Baklava, a scrumptious pastry!

Learning to make baklava could be one of the most rewarding baking classes you’ll ever take! It is a joy for me to share with you the secrets of making one of the world’s most special desserts!

Baklava is a scrumptious pastry! Its origins come from the Middle East—where every country claims it as their own! This makes me believe that Jesus Himself enjoyed this sweet food. Research traces it back as far as the Assyrians at around the 8th century B.C.

This class requires pre-registration. Upon registering, you will receive a list of materials to bring to the class. Plan for this to take the full evening: About 1.5 - 2 hours in class, then going home and baking the baklava you’ve created (1 hour and 10 minutes plus pre-heat time.)

You will take your prepared Baklava home and bake it in your own oven that night, so please plan your evening to allow time for this. (This recipe makes 24 pieces.)
